I thought this training was extremely useful to understand trauma and how our practice can be altered when working with children who have experienced trauma and techniques for this. This training provided knowledge on signs and symptoms of trauma as well as the effects of ACEs on later life. Allan Johnston was very engaging throughout the course bringing opportunities for everyone to get the most out of the training by inviting questions, group work and use of whiteboard allowing everyone to contribute their ideas.
