Age Assessments
Course Overview
This course is designed for social workers faced with the difficult and controversial task of conducting age assessments of children and young adults. The course is intended to provide clear, comprehensive “user-friendly” guidance to practitioners working in the area. The assessment process is broken down into several strategic but logical stages, each stage being accompanied by a helpful “checklist” of considerations and options.

Within the course, consideration is also given to the Hillingdon and Croydon guidelines as well as an update as to recent legal decisions and policy developments.
