Peter Henderson is a flexible, engaging and dynamic trainer able to deliver complex concepts in an easily digestible way. As well as a White Ribbon Ambassador, he is, and continues to be, a frontline practitioner working as a Probation Officer.
He specialises in working with men who present a high risk of harm to others and have diagnosed or probable Personality Disorder (PD).
Peter’s work with perpetrators of Domestic Abuse involves one-to-one psychotherapeutic interventions delivered through supervision, referrals into other agencies such as children’s services, mental health, substance misuse and internal/external specialist programmes to address Domestic Abuse.
All of these are MAPPA managed and some are active MARAC and Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) cases. Peter is able to use his current practitioner experience to inform his Domestic Abuse training courses.
