Onika Moses

Onika Moses is a Homeless Support Worker working with families with mental health to support them find accommodation, education and employment . Onika was a teaching assistant for 8 years working alongside children 3-11 years old and found herself supporting and helping children/youth emotionally during this time. Working with young people, Onika realised how mental health affects their education and the stigma that exists in society. Out of interest, to gain knowledge in wellbeing and mental health Onika gained a Certificate in Awareness in Mental Health Problems.

Onika is studying to become a Counsellor, to empower people in crisis and help them seek understanding and enhance their wellbeing.  Onika is a trained and qualified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor and licensed by MHFA England. Onika takes pride in her work and ensures a high standard in delivering Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Onika’s goal is to empower people with the knowledge and skills to support a young person in crisis.
