Mike Ring

Michael Ring is an experienced Mental Health Trainer and accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor with over 30 years’ background across the NHS, emergency care, healthcare education and workplace training. He delivers Ofqual-regulated Mental Health First Aid programmes awarded by First Aid Awards, alongside structured, evidence-based mental health awareness and stress-related training tailored to client needs.

 

Mike’s approach is calm, supportive and psychologically safe, creating learning environments where participants feel confident engaging with sensitive topics. His work supports individuals and organisations to better understand mental health, recognise early warning signs, respond appropriately, and build practical strategies to support wellbeing in the workplace and wider community.

 

A former State Registered Paramedic and senior clinical trainer, Mike brings real-world experience, credibility and reassurance to his mental health training, particularly when working with professional, high-pressure and diverse audiences. He delivers training both face-to-face and online, adapting content to suit organisational context, workforce needs and learner experience.

 

Mike has worked across healthcare, education, professional sport, community and voluntary sectors, and is committed to high professional standards, quality delivery and meaningful, practical outcomes for learners.
