Gaynor Morrison

Gaynor Morrison is a specialist midwife in Safeguarding and a Lecturer in Health Sciences. She has a PG Cert in Education and an MSc with a focus on health inequalities and ‘babies born into care’. She prioritises the voice of the most vulnerable children in our society and the care needed for those who work with these groups.
 
Her training is inclusive, has a trauma informed approach, is client focussed and is intuitive. She recently developed a curriculum for experiential learning, supervision and training for newly qualified health professionals working with highly complex families. Her training sessions are informative and current whilst her passion for improving care is paramount.
 
Gaynor’s career has spanned over 30 years both in the UK and Australia, in the NHS and Education. She is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery and continues to develop training using the lens of the unborn and newborn baby to explore the complexities and dynamics that babies bring to families
