• Explore the origins of behaviour and its function
• Understand the personal and environmental factors that impact on behaviour
• Understand the cyclical nature of behaviour and recognise the early warning signs of an escalation in more complex behaviour.
• Understand the impact of their own values and behaviour on any given situation
• Understand how to intervene positively during all stages of a behaviour cycle
