Covid-19 Related Infection Control

Overview

In order to encourage and reassure front-facing health & social care staff in their return to work during Covid-19, this 2 hour on-line course, using Zoom (or similar) aims to give individuals a basic understanding of infection prevention and control in practice and a greater understanding of current infections, risk and prevention of communicable diseases and in particular Covid-19.

Who is Covid-19 Related Infection Control aimed at?

Anyone working in health and social care who has face-to-face contact with the public.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course, participants will have:

• A basic understanding of infection prevention and control in practice and a greater understanding of current infections, risk and prevention of communicable diseases and in particular Covid19.
• A greater understanding of the appropriate infection prevention and control measures required to return to work and deal with the general public
