This course is designed to help delegates understand the key aspects of Safeguarding process management, to critically analyse safeguarding enquiries and manage the multi-disciplinary arrangements into safeguarding process

Who is the Course Aimed at?
All Managers in Adult Social Care who supervise Safeguarding Adults Enquiry Officers.
- Understand the legal framework, policy and best practice for practitioners carrying out the role of Safeguarding Adult Manager in safeguarding adults enquiries
- Have a full understanding of the safeguarding adult enquiry officer role. This should include The Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and local operational procedures
- To have an awareness of tools related to Making Safeguarding Personal, the MASH Team and policy
- Be upskilled on Chairing Safeguarding Meetings
