Louise Carrington-Dye

Louise Carrington-Dye is an FMC accredited Family Mediator, PPC, Trainer, qualified Social Worker and Restorative Practice and Motivational Interviewing trainer and facilitator. She was formerly a Legal Executive in youth justice and family law before she trained as a mediator. It was from her close work with young people who found themselves disaffected from society and education that she trained in mediation and restorative justice. She continues to use this valuable skill as a driver to engage and motivate young people and to encourage them to identify and build on their own skills; and to use these to grow and deal with situations in a more positive way and to channel this new founded energy into becoming more active in society. Louise worked for Thames Valley probation where she was a main facilitator with the Euro victim initiated restorative justice project, ‘Restoring the Balance’ continues to deliver Restorative Practice training.

As a qualified Teacher and Trainer, Louise previously managed a Mediation Separated Parenting Programme (SPIP) including all aspects of staff training and continues to deliver the programme.

Louise now offers independent parenting assessments (PAMS), Listening to young people services (voice of the child), runs CPD courses in Family Mediation, Separated Parents Co-Working including trauma informed (ACE’s) and parental alienation syndrome.Louise is a sympathetic and experienced trainer in this field whose work is highly reviewed
