Helen Conway

Helen Conway was a District Judge on the Northern circuit. Prior to her appointment she was a solicitor then barrister, a tutor at the University of Liverpool and frequent trainer and conference speaker for commercial training companies. In practice she focused on family and asylum law. Once on the bench she continued as s family law specialist but also heard civil cases and was ticketed to sit in the Court of Protection. She has written several law related books, over a hundred articles and remains an editor for Butterworth Family Law Service.

Having retired early from the bench she retrained as a coach and holds a certificate in performance coaching, a PGCert in Psychosynthesis Leadership coaching and advanced training in creativity coaching. She has also been an internationally exhibited artist for over fifteen years and holds an MA degree in creative writing.

Her training reflects this unique combination of skills and experience. She brings a creative, person centred approach to sessions. She is entertaining and deeply informative but also places focus on ensuring every delegate grows in confidence and self-understanding and goes away with a personal action plan to implement the training.
