Overview

The key aim of the bereavement training is to increase knowledge or care after death procedures, grief and bereavement (including suicide), develop an understanding in order to build confidence and enhance skills needed to work sensitively and empathically with families, carer’s and others who experience loss and grief.

Who is Bereavement & Loss aimed at?

Any health and social care professional working with patients or clients facing death, dying and bereavement. will benefit from attending this training, This includes corporate, community, social services (adults & children), care home sector, schools, emergency services, voluntary sector or elsewhere where support is needed.

On completion of this course, delegates will have:

  • Improved awareness and understanding of the impact of loss, grief and bereavement
