Course Outline
This session will cover how the newly established Children Act 2013 impacts on and informs social work practice. You will look at the most commonly used parts of the Children Act, for example s1, s17, s20, s31, s38 and s47. The course will develop your understanding between legislation, case law and guidance and using those as an integral part of practice.

Children’s social workers, family support workers, social work
administrators Between 8 and 20 candidates.
