The
seminar programme is evidence-based & arises from extensive experience
& research at both The Walton Centre for Neurology & St Thomas's
Hospital (INPUT) Pain Management Programmes. Both large and small healthcare
environments will be catered for and the programme will be of interest
not just to health professionals working with chronic pain patients in
hospitals and clinics, but also to multi disciplinary professionals in,
for example, physiotherapy practices and departments, occupational health
depts in organisations and companies and staff in general practices/primary
care. These professionals include: doctors, nurses, physiotherapists,
occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, general practitioners
and their practice staff and occupational health nurses and doctors .
Rehabilitation staff and alternative practitioners may also benefit.

THE
SPEAKERS
Dr J.C.D. Wells
& Dr E.J. Ghadiali were responsible for starting Britain's first
pain management programme at The Walton Centre for Neurology & Neurosurgery,
Liverpool in 1983. Dr Wells is a Consultant Anaesthesist and former
Director of the Centre for Pain Relief, home of Europe's largest pain
clinic; Dr Ghadiali is Consultant Clinical Neuro-Psychologist &
Director, The Walton Pain Management Programme. Both men are regarded
as lively, authoritative and entertaining speakers thoughout the world
and demand for places is expected to be high.
