POSITIVE STEPS PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES FOR STAFF in HEALTHCARE Positive Steps courses provide training for healthcare staff in a range of key personal development areas. The courses use adult education techniques, action learning principles and cognitive-behavioural theory. The trainer has many years experience at all levels of the NHS. Staff will find that Positive Steps will also substantially enhance their professional lives. The courses are presented ‘on-site’ in practice/hospital/trust either as 1 or 2 day programmes (see below) with the addition of a follow-up day after several months to monitor progress. Training is tailored, wherever possible, to the specialist environment in which healthcare staff are working. Maximum number of delegates on most courses is 12.
