A 1-day workshop suitable for all professional nurses who need to consider the current political and social climate and how they impact on the profession of nursing. Aim of workshop: The course is designed to raise awareness, as well as increasing knowledge, regarding safe practice, appropriate documentation & effective risk management. At the end of the workshop, the registered nurse will be able to describe the duty of care, misconduct and the torte of negligence.

THE TRAINER

KATY LEMIN-STONE, BSc., RGN, Dip Ed, Dip Couns. has extensive clinical, managerial & educational experience at all levels of healthcare over many years. She has worked in both the NHS and the private sector, and has been a Unit Manager in Critical Care, Director of Nursing both in the UK and abroad and as an Education & training Manager for a group of hospitals. She has written many education programmes for nurses & other employees in the healthcare setting over a long period of time. Katy is a great communicator and has established a reputation for the delivery of dynamic, unique, highly effective and enjoyable training courses to healthcare staff.
