POST NATAL DEPRESSION

A 1-day seminar

POST NATAL DEPRESSION normally occurs within a year of the birth of a baby, affecting 12-15% of all women. Undiagnosed postnatal depression may lead to breakdown of marriages, relationship problems and impaired cognitive development in children. Early recognition and appropriate support significantly improves maternal mood, reducing long term detrimental effects on infants.
