COACHING SKILLS FOR HEALTHCARE MANAGERS

A 1-day on site seminar

Coaching skills are now being taught as a highly effective management tool to increase motivation, maintain commitment and enhance performance. Recent research has shown that training alone results in a 22.4% improvement in productivity, yet when combined with coaching productivity has been shown to increase by over 80%.

Benefits are evident for both the individual and the organisation when coaching skills are incorporated into existing management styles. For the individual, coaching can result in increased clarity, vision and focus together with a greater capacity to handle challenge and change. For the employer, benefits are often broader and include increased productivity as a result of staff becoming more solution focused, creative and accountable in the workplace.

This interactive seminar will be of interest to anyone in healthcare who wishes to develop a coaching management style. It will be of particular value to anyone who has responsibility for one or more members of staff or for anyone wishing to develop their role as a mentor or supervisor.

WHO WILL BENEFIT?

Nurses, Doctors, Physiotherapists, OT s, Admin, Financial, Operations & other Managers in the NHS and Independent Health & social care sectors.
