THE CARTOONIST:
MARTIN DAVIES, who has a background in healthcare, is also a keen, prolific and talented cartoonist (we don’t think these two backgrounds are connected!) and has co-authored health books, audio programmes & training courses about Stress, Depression, Toxic People and Toxic Situations! All of these are based on what he calls the ‘Glasgow’ model (he's a Scot.) His illustrations have also been published in Private Eye. He says his cartoons are inspired by the people he meets in his working life (and sometimes outside it, so beware if you ever meet him). Martin's sense of humour leaves a lot to be desired. He has been described, variously as: ‘Robert Winston meets Billy Connolly on speed!’, ‘Billy Connolly meets David Walliams’ and MORE ENTERTAINING THAN BIG BROTHER! For some reason he is now a popular and sought after trainer for Talking Life Seminars and people actually BUY his cartoons, which tend to poke fun at those things and people in life that cause irritation.
